could you explain the photo a bit? Is it the edge of the desert as I seem to see lines of trees beyond the sand? It is beautiful masha'Allah.

The photo was taken at a place called Liwa. It's an oasis but the area has about 50 villages. I would imagine that most of these villages are a few houses at most. The UAE Govt waters everything like mad and have created little forests out of the desert. In fact there is even a Forestry Commission like the UK. It does mean that you see sand dunes with coverings of grass. Personally, I think the sand looks beautiful enough on its own.
